To L.N. I’m sorry I never got the chance to tell you what was really going on, what was going through my mind, and for not doing what both you and I know I should have done. Even though it’s been over 2 years, song sums up what I’ve been feeling lately.
I hope he truly makes you happy.
Something that’s been coming up a lot in my pondering is deciding between doing what I need to be doing and what I want to do. I know that I need to be take care of myself first, lock down that job, and be career oriented for a while. Only thing is, I want to be in a relationship right now as well. Doing both seems like I’d be spreading myself too thin.
I’ve been told by my business mentor that I shouldn’t be thinking about girls, and to only think about what I can do to further better myself and get that money. However, this song always comes out of left field and starts playing in my head, coaxing me to continue to chase after these girls that seem to be wasting my time.
I suppose moving away would be running away from my conundrum, but it is sounding more and more like an extremely viable option. I dunno, I guess I’m just waiting for something better to happen. Whether that be working around home, moving away to work, or to keep chasing these girls remains to be seen.
